I'm pretty sure the poster is not a VT fan, but just a softball fan in general who has gotten tired of the UCLA hype train.

"Interesting all the talk here is about the LOSING team. Regardless of how this goes from here on out this game was no fluke. VT hitters hit it where it was pitched and pressured the ucla defense which did not respond. Having not seen the bruins play this season I wondered if they had been pressed this way or have been protected but Garcia's arm.
Offensively, VT reminded me of the Arizona teams of the last decade keeping the ball on the ground forcing the action. Rochard was amazing . . . best I've seen her as she usually nibbles too much for my taste. She attacked the strike zone early in the count. 12K's with on 87 pitches is pretty amazing. Also love the fact that the VT battery call their game. VT has outscored opponents 31-9 since heading west. VT has done this with a regional roster of kids that would be 2 and 3 star recruits if such evaluations existed in softball. Kudos all the way 'round.
